As I wake with a smile
I have to stop and say -
thank you dear Lord
for this Easter holiday...
My son is here with
his dog by his side -
we will soon hang out
and cookout poolside...
We'll share laughter
and good food -
Enjoying this day
with a happy attitude...
Thank you that this
worked out my way -
I give praise to God
on this Easter holiday.
